The West Hollywood Broken Hearts Club by A.D.Wells is a stand out from your typical bandcamp project. What's most impressive about his singing isn't its range-- though his octave-gliding trill remains spellbinding-- but the way he consistently picks the right tone at the right time, whether it be a falsetto or a shivery warble. The album flows fluidly from the most plaintive lines to the epilogues. His lullaby tone voice seems sung in a foreign language, despite the plain English found in the lyrics. With this being his first album I can just imagine how great the next one could sound. Tapes are limited grab one while you can. & go support A.D.Wells.
